The purpose of human life is to serve and to show compassion and the will to help others.

International Relief Services

Our mission is to do as much good as humanly possible.

A lofty goal?   Perhaps.     Too big? ...too broad? ...too unreasonable?

We’re okay with that.   After all its been said that all progress is made by unreasonable people and we tend to agree. We’re humanitarians; we’re willing to confront the ills of the world head on but at the same time simply insist on seeing all the possibility that exists beyond suffering and neglect.

Idealists?   Maybe.   But most of us have a healthy dose of pragmatism.  What do we mean?  Well, when something is no longer being used or there’s extra that can be shared,  then the sensible, compassionate and most productive thing to do is provide those items to someone in need.

This is a lot of what we do.   Items that are retired or surplus are collected by Rotary Clubs, churches, civic groups, charities or sometimes just a single individual on a personal mission.
Items are gathered together to send overseas where they are so desperately needed. This is where we come in. We help with the how-to’s and the logistics involved in making a successful international relief shipment.

Established by a grant from the Rotary International Foundation,
Universal Heart helps provide relief aid to developing countries.

Since 2001, Universal Heart has assisted countless Rotary Clubs,
churches, small charities, civic groups, and even individuals working alone,
in shipping life-essential items to communities in need around the world.
